Standard operation of rotary drum vacuum filter
Preparation before starting the drum vacuum filter: Check carefully before starting the drum filter. There should be no extraneous debris in the storage tank, drum, filter cloth, washing tank and other parts, and the base cloth should be laid properly (If you need to use a base cloth), the position of the face device is correct, the tension is moderate, the oil surface of each reducer and transmission should be added to the regular oil level, normal and smooth, and the motor wiring should be correct. Make the rotating direction of the drum the same as the mark.
Start the drum: start the drum drive motor (from low to high to the required speed), check the dry running condition, if you find other abnormal phenomena in the filter, stop for inspection and sweep.
Injecting materials: Inject materials evenly, adjust the feeding speed, and maintain the liquid level until there is suspension flowing out of the overflow port.
Start the vacuum pump: According to the characteristics of the filtered material, adjust the vacuum up and down to keep it at the required level. The vacuum degree is generally maintained between 0.04 and 0.08MPa.
Filtration: Inject the filtered material and liquid into the storage tank evenly, and start filtering. During the filtration process, the changes in the vacuum degree and the state of the liquid should be observed, and the abnormalities should be adjusted in time.
Close the feed valve: When the need to stop the filtration, close the feed valve.
Suspend the vacuum pump: After the feed is stopped, the drum vacuum filter runs continuously until the suspension in the storage tank is below the bottom of the drum, close the filter residue washing pipe and filter cloth flushing valve, and turn off the vacuum pump.
Shutdown: After the drum vacuum filter is filtered, rinse the drum storage tank, filter cloth, rollers, scrapers, etc. with water to avoid affecting the next filtration. When the washing is over, turn off the drum drive motor.
